Matt joined Wyndham Vacation Ownership in January 2006 as the Assistant General Manager at the Wyndham Grand Desert. He assisted the team in making the Grand Desert into a highly successful and well-performing operation winning three consecutive Crystal Pineapple awards. He joined Wyndham Tropicana in January 2013 as General Manager and oversaw the co-branding of the resort as well as leading it to achieving 2013 Gold Wyndham Excellence.  In June 2014, Matt joined and opened the brand new Wyndham Desert Blue Resort as General Manager.
Matt brings 15 plus years of professional management experience in the hospitality industry working extensively for companies such as Wyndham, Pacific Hotels, Prime Hospitality, and Extended Stay America / Studio Plus Hotels. Matt is a graduate of California State University – Sacramento and holds his Bachelors of Science degree in Recreation Administration.  He holds several designations including Community Association Manager, Certified Manager of Community Associations, and Association Management Specialist. 

In his spare time he enjoys golfing, traveling, and is a huge fan of the Boston Red Sox.

John O’Connor is an Agent for the Nevada Gaming Control Board Tax & License Division and has served the Board in different capacities for 14 years. The Nevada Gaming Control Board governs Nevada’s gaming industry through strict regulation of all persons, locations, practices, association, and related activities. Through investigations, licensure, and enforcement of laws and regulations it protects the integrity and the stability of the industry and ensures the collection of gaming taxes and fees that are an essential source of State revenue.

In addition to this employment, O’Connor also serves as an official for High School and College football and has 11 years of officiating experience. He was selected to be a High School Crew Chief in 2014 and has been selected to officiate numerous playoff games, including a state championship, 5 state semi-final games, 2 Regional Championship games, and 2 all-star high school football games.

O’Connor is currently the financial advisor of the Kappa Omicron Chapter at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas after previously serving as chapter advisor. He was a founding father of the Kappa Omicron chapter in 1997. During his time at UNLV, he served for 3 years on the executive board as Internal Vice President in 1998, Treasurer in 1999, and President in 2000. Also as an undergraduate, O’Connor was the 2000 recipient of the Jack Lux Memorial Scholarship, was a member of the Sabre & Key Honor Society, a member of Order of Omega, a member of Gamma Sigma Alpha National Greek Honor Society, and served as the IFC Vice President of Finance. O’Connor is currently a member of the Las Vegas Area Alumni Association of Pi Kappa Alpha, of which he was also a founding member. O’Connor has served the Association in numerous capacities over the years: as President, Vice President, Secretary, and currently serves as its Treasurer. O’Connor also serves as Treasurer of the Las Vegas Tazewell Society. Additionally, he is a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha President’s Council.

O’Connor graduated from Cheyenne High School in North Las Vegas and went on to attend the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, graduating Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting. O’Connor is currently a member of the University Nevada-Las Vegas Alumni Association.

O’Connor and his wife Andi have been married for 9 years and have 2 daughters: Jaila and Jaicee and one son: Jack.

Paul Chaffee is a Partner and Real Estate Broker at NAI Vegas, specializing in Retail Sales and Distressed Assets.

Chaffee is the chair for mentorship for the executive committee of the Lied Institute for Real Estate Studies at the University Nevada at Las Vegas. Chaffee participates in the speakers program as a part of the Smart Grad Program which helps to educate the Young Entrepreneurs Services, Inc. at Foothills High School. Chaffee was a founding counselor of Camp Firefly, a camp for children with cancer, and participated in camp for 10 years. Financially, Chaffee supports The United Way, Lied Children’s Museum, Good Will and Sertoma. He also participated in two of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training 100 mile bike rides and was also a mentor. He has served as the team coach and founder of Rides for Candlelighters Kids, which supports a foundation for children with childhood cancer; to date, Riders for Candlelighters has raised over $400,000 for Candlelighters.

Chaffee serves on the advisory board of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity, Kappa Omicron Chapter, at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and was a founding father of this chapter as well as the President during his years at UNLV. Along with being involved in the undergraduate chapter, Chaffee is a board member of the Greater Las Vegas Area Alumni Association of Pi Kappa Alpha, of which he is also a founder and founding President. Chaffee is a board member of the Student Life Advisor Board, Executive Committee Member of the Lied School of Real Estate Studies and a member of the University Nevada Las Vegas Alumni Association.

As a 29 year Las Vegas resident, Chaffee graduated from Bonanza High School and went on to attend the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies. Chaffee is a graduate of the Life Success, Men’s Leadership, Pacesetters Leadership Dynamics and Rapport Leader I Programs. Chaffee coached Pacesetters Leadership Dynamics and received the leader of the year award.

Chaffee and his wife Renee have been married for 6 years and have two children: Cooper and Ema.
